How to Use Our Cordless Beard Straightener

How to Use Our Cordless Beard Straightener

Using our Cordless Beard Straightener is not difficult at all. Simply turn the device on, let it heat to the right temperature, then run it through your beard until you are happy with the results.

That being said, there are a few tips and tricks we’ve picked up that will help you make the most of your new beard straightener.

Before we get in to the tips, if you'd like to find out more about the key features of our Wireless Beard Straightener, check out this post on Our Top 5 Beard Straightener Features.

1. Charging

how to charge the cordless beard straightener

When first unpacking the beard straightener, you’ll want to ensure it is fully charged and ready to go before use.

Most, would be so tempted to turn it on and test it out, that they miss this step. But you need to ensure the straightener has been fully charged for the recommended time, at least for the first time of use, before setting it to action on your beard.

The straightener is supplied with a USB cable, or you could use your own if you have the same connection. Simply plug this into a plug and let it charge. Once fully charged, the red light will turn green - and it’s ready to go. This usually takes around 2.5 to 3 hours.

2. Let it heat up

Turn the straightener on by flicking the unlock switch, and holding down the power button. Press it a few more times to toggle to the right temperature.

At that point you’ll see the blue light flashing - indicating that it is heating up.

Avoid jumping the gun by using the straightener before it’s had a chance to heat up. This won’t speed up the process, and if anything will take longer to straighten your beard.

It usually takes around 3-4 minutes to get to the right temperature. You’ll know when it does as the flashing blue light will turn solid blue. At this point you can dive right in and start transforming your beard!

3. Let the straightener do its magic

It takes a bit of getting used to but once you’ve got the technique sorted, you’ll get the best results.

Slowly glide the straightener through your beard pressing the bristles against your face. Keep in mind that the heat is passed through the internal bristles, and the outer bristles are more for combing through the beard. The external bristles are meant to be flexible so they can easily glide through your beard and curve around the shape of your face.

Don’t worry, you won’t burn your face - in fact most of our customers have said it feels relaxing and calming!

Repeat this as many times as required, and use your other hand to palm down any loose hairs in between.

4. Things to keep in mind

Do not use with product in your beard

To make the most out of your beard straightener, ensure you do not have product in your hair/beard, and your hair/beard is towel try before use.
This is more so not to damage the straightener.

If you do use the beard straightener on damp or wet hair, much like traditional hair straighteners, you'll hear a
light static sort of sound - this is because the heat is dissipating the water particles on your beard.

It's cordless

As the name suggest, our Cordless Beard Straightener is cordless. We supply the product with a handy USB chargin cable, which can also be connected to your laptop, power bank or with your car charger.

Works great with our beard balm

My beard is about 1.5 inches long. Is this long enough for the straightener to work? I usually use my wife’s hairdryer, would this straightener work better?

    Thanks

    Marcus
